Floral Pattern: A hand screen-printed two color repeat pattern design in two color-ways. The elements used in the pattern were drawn by hand and furthermore placed into repeat and separated into two layers on two silk-screens using photo emulsion and light exposing technology. The unit size of each screen is 14" x 22" that repeat along four yards of cotton fabric in two color palettes.
Screen-Printed & Upholstered Chair Design: This chair seat design was created by using hand screen-printing techniques. This 50s rendition of an 1800s Early American chair was the influence for the design of the screen-printed seat. Looking back to hand cross stitching but also forward at trending colors and colors seen in 50s textiles, this design was created.
